Charollais are the easy lambing terminal sire and are the ideal sire to use over ewe lambs and ewe hoggets. Charollais lambs are very vigorous at birth, they are quick to find their feet and suckle.  

The Charollais cross lamb is fast growing with a high quality carcass.  The Charollais carcass has a large eye muscle and great rump and hind quarter muscling.  Charollais lambs can be reared for either the trade or export market.

Charollais ewes are very prolific, Charollais cross ewe lambs can be held back and mated as Charollais first cross ewes. They will be more prolific and have a better carcass than the Border Leicester first cross ewes.
